First of all, thank you all so much for supporting my music (AND my art) throughout 2023. I've been very busy IRL and lots of projects went in and out. Before I talk about what's to come, here's a brief summary of...

What happened in 2023?

• Jan: Fanmade 3D Animation of Destiny 2, "ACE", was released & Won MOTW [Worked as a composer]
• April: End of Internship (Working since Jan)
• June: Back to University
• July: "Braveheart" Single Release
• ALSO July: 2D Animated Series "OddTodd" has released its first episode [Worked as a composer]
• Sept: 3D Destiny 2 Cinematic "Nezarec's Whisper" was released & Won MOTW [Worked as a music team guide]
• Oct.~ Dec (Ongoing): NDA Indie Game Project

Dang, I worked on a lot of animations this year!

Also, although the numbers were a bit lower, this year's Spotify Wrapped gave me a pleasant surprise of rather consistent listeners. Thank you all so much for your support! :D

Now what's to come in 2024

• NDA Indie Game Project -- This one is gonna be quite an interesting project, since it's my first time working with a game studio as a composer. I will share further info once it's available, but until then, lips are sealed unfortunately.
• I GRADUATE UNIVERSITY! Spring 2024 is my last semester and I graduate in June 2024 with Bachelor's Degree of Film and Media Arts. I love this major and will cherish the experiences I had forever <3
• Directing My Very Own Short Film -- Kinda related to the graduation, but in the last semester I have decided to direct my very own short film (est. 15min). Already have the script ready, I just have to start working on pre-production.

Later on after graduation, I honestly don't know what will happen, guess I will be start looking for work of whatever I feel like doing. Who knows, there might be some insane opportunities just waiting to be discovered. But until then, this is what's gonna happen at least for the 1Q 2024.

P.S. Around December 22nd-23rd, I am planning to do a special livestream of Q&A, workspace showcase and stuff on my YouTube channel, celebrating my official 5 year journey as a music composer. If you're interested, please, don't forget to subscri- (shameless self promotion pfft)

Hello Newgrounds!

I am extremely proud to share the first episode release of the new Destiny 2 fan-made animated mini series, titled "ACE". I have been part of this project as a composer. It is now available on YouTube so please watch it & share if you can. This is one of the most insane commissioned projects I've ever been in, and I think the results look spectacular.

Massive special thanks to the Director (Matthew Marradi, aka "AverageMatty") and the entire crew for letting me join in & work really hard on this together. The process I went through with writing themes and motifs, underscoring, scheduling and revising the cues has been very interesting and I learned a lot through this insane process over 7-8 months of work.

As a result, the official soundtrack has released on YouTube, SoundCloud, and of course, here in Newgrounds. I really hope you all enjoy it too.

I'll try to be a bit more active starting this year, so please stay tuned for more updates related to this project and more. Because, this is just a beginning of a wild journey!

Hey everyone! This is Jessie again :)) thanks for the continuous support despite my absence, I've been very busy recently with IRL stuff and working on commissions. Just wanted to give you a nudge that I am alive and well, and currently I'm slowly making my way back towards the groove of music making. I've got some important news to share with you guys, so please give a read. Also enjoy this small snapshot of my tiny, messy workspace xD

First, here's a big announcement: I've officially signed a contract with U-NXT (part of Universal Music Group) to support my track "Scars of War". Starting this late October for the next 5 years, Scars of War will be under U-NXT/UMG, which means every license inquiry and usage will be directed to them, not myself. Please keep note when contacting me for licensing!

NDA Project (Project M): A Destiny 2 fanmade animated series "Project M" is currently under developement. i have nothing to say much but I can tell the release date, which is December 16th! By that time my soundtrack will also be done and get ready for release. I've been working hard months and months to make it sound perfect. Shh, let me give you a little secret: expect to hear a tad bit of Spiderman vibes :))
